I was approached by Samantha Marsh, one of the organisers, to provide official photography for the debut Cat Show Live at NEC Birmingham. Having previously worked with breeders, owners, and companies at other shows, I was thrilled to document this groundbreaking event.
The first event of its kind, The Cat Show Live brought together 3 globally recognised cat registries (GCCF, Fife & TICA) to celebrate our feline friends.
Highlights included:
Cat Village: Meet over 150 cats from 30+ breeds and chat with owners and breeders.
Hope Alley: Adoption and charity support areas.
Theatre Square: Talks from esteemed global cat experts.
Retail Avenue: Over 1000 sqm of trade stands showcasing cat products.
Chris worked as an extension of our team for our debut event at the Birmingham NEC. He was so fantastic to work with and captured exactly what we needed from our day, and we threw a lot of different briefs to him! The Cat Show Live
My brief was to capture the essence of the event — from cats and owners engaging with the public, to stall holders, speakers, celebrities, and branded environments. These images would be used for marketing, promotional material, and to promote next year’s event.
