Commercial Project: UKBKC Dog Shows

I was approached by the UKBKC (UK Bully Kennel Club) to provide professional photography at their dog shows, capturing bulldog breeds, attendees, and prize winners. The client wanted high-quality images for marketing, social media, show guides, posters, and banners.

My focus was on capturing engaging, professional images while keeping the dogs calm and comfortable. Using studio lights and branded backdrops, I photographed attendees with their dogs, prize winners with rosettes and trophies, and general lifestyle shots throughout the event.

In later events, I expanded coverage beyond the backdrop, capturing candid and environmental images inside the rings and around the show. I ensure the dogs and owners are looking at the camera through patience, gentle guidance, and a few funny noises — producing authentic and professional portraits every time.

Images were delivered to the client for multiple uses: social media, websites, show guides, posters, banners, and merchandising. Additionally, I implemented an automated platform allowing attendees to view and purchase digital downloads, generating additional income for the client and supporting their charity, Barking Mad Bull Breed Rescue.

This project demonstrates my ability to combine event coverage, portraiture, and client-focused solutions. By understanding the client’s needs and using a calm, structured approach, I delivered images that enhance their marketing and provide long-term value.
