Commercial Project: Rogues Collars - Product Photography
Rogue’s Collars, a UK-based luxury pet accessories brand, commissioned me to photograph their dog leads and collars for marketing and e-commerce. The goal was to create professional, high-quality product images that showcase their design, materials, and packaging.

Chris is an outstanding individual who goes above and beyond for his clients. He did some product photography for our company and we were amazed by the talent and skill from Knights Photography. We would definitely recommend using his services.

I began by discussing the client’s brief in detail, reviewing their brand and styling preferences. If the brief wasn’t fully defined, we brainstormed together and explored examples to decide on the look and feel.

Wherever possible, I work in person with clients to plan angles and fine details, but I can also work remotely when schedules or distances require. Initial product layouts are photographed on a phone and shared with the client for feedback before the professional shoot.
During the shoot, products are carefully arranged — for example, dog leads were pinned to maintain the desired shape — and captured under controlled lighting. Colours are calibrated for accuracy.
Before - Due to the dog leads wanting to bend in a certain way due to the stiffness of the leather, it was necessary for me to build a board and pin them carefully so that they stayed in the desired position
After the shoot, images are sent to the client for a final check before editing. Products are then retouched to specifications, pins removed, and backgrounds made pure white for e-commerce, ensuring the images align perfectly with the brand’s website and marketing materials.
This project was a great example of collaborative product photography, combining attention to detail, client feedback, and technical precision. The final images were ready for both online and print marketing, helping Rogue’s Collars showcase their products beautifully.
